Kansas Title Transfer
Back of Title:
*Red = Seller, Teal = Buyer*
- The seller enters the buyer's name, address, city, state, and zip code.
- If there is a co-buyer, the seller will also enter their name.
- The seller enters the exact odometer reading, the purchase price of the vehicle, the month, day, and year the vehicle was sold and delivered, and then signs and prints their name.
- Don't include tenths of a mile.
- Only check boxes 1 or 2 if the mileage is in excess of the odometer's mechanical limits or the odometer reading is not the actual mileage.
- If the vehicle is subject to a lien, the buyer will check "Yes," and enter the name, address, city, state, and zip code of the lienholder that is to appear on the new title. The buyer enters the date and signs and prints their name to confirm they are aware of the odometer disclosure made above.
- If the vehicle is not subject to a lien, check "No."
