Failure to provide the following can delay the registration process.
- Bill of Sale
- Bring your PrivateAuto bill of sale.
- If you have any questions regarding the bill of sale, contact your local DDS.
- Completed Tag/Title Application
- Valid Georgia Auto Insurance Policy
- Vailed Form of Identification
- Proof of Georgia Residency
- Examples:
- Utility bill.
- Pay stub with your printed address.
- Lease agreement.

- Examples:
- Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin signed over to you.
- The last owner's title, signed over to you.
- The vehicle's current registration, signed over to you.

- The state of Georgia requires all vehicles to pass an emissions test, with some exemptions.
