Nevada Vehicle Registration
Failure to provide the following can delay the registration process.
- Properly Filled Out Title
- If the title is held by a lienholder, provide the security agreement.
- Bill of Sale
- Bring your PrivateAuto bill of sale.
- If you have questions regarding the bill of sale, contact your local DMV.
- Current Odometer Reading
- Only for vehicles less than ten years old.
- Application for Vehicle Registration
- Vehicle Inspection Certificate
- Only if the vehicle was previously registered outside of the state of Nevada.
- Valid Nevada Auto Insurance Policy
- Emissions Test
- The state of Nevada requires emissions tests for all vehicles.

*Residents of Nevada have 30 days from the purchase date to register their vehicle.
