Oregon Vehicle Registration
Failure to provide the following can delay the registration process.
- Properly Filled Out Title
- Bill of Sale
- Bring your PrivateAuto bill of sale.
- If you have questions regarding the bill of sale, contact your local DMV.
- Valid Oregon Auto Insurance Policy
- Application for Title and Registration
- Statement of Lien Satisfaction
- If applicable
- Odometer Disclosure Statement
- Only if the vehicle is under 20 years old.
- This is completed on a Secure Odometer Disclosure/Reassignment Form or filled out on the back of the title.
- Emissions Test
- The state of Oregon requires all vehicles in the cities of Portland and Medford to get an emissions test.

*Residents of Oregon have 30 days from the purchase date to register their vehicle.
