• Properly Filled Out Title
  • If not held by a lienholder.
• Bill of Sale
  • Bring your PrivateAuto bill of sale.
  • If you have questions regarding the bill of sale, contact your local DMV.
• Valid Utah Driver's License
• Valid Utah Auto Insurance Policy
• Most Recent Vehicle Registration
• VIN Inspection
  • Required for vehicles being registered in Utah for the first time.
• Safety Inspection
  • Only applicable for vehicles with a salvage title.
• Emissions Test
  • The state of Utah requires all vehicles to pass an emissions test, with a few exceptions.
