Does My Listing Include A Vehicle History Report?

Each vehicle listed with PrivateAuto includes a free AutoCheck Vehicle History Report.

Here are two ways to find the Vehicle History Report. 

1. Press "Search" found in the left menu bar 

   

2. Click on the listing you're interested in 
3. Scroll down to the "Description" section and press on "Vehicle History." 
4. You will be able to view and download the Vehicle History Report from here.

The 2nd way to find the report is if you're a seller viewing the listing you created on your account:

1. Click on "Your Listings" found on the left nav bar and select which listing you want the vehicle history for.

   

2. Press on "Vehicle History" found at the top of your listing.

   

3. You will be able to view and download the Vehicle History Report from here.

   

Having a Vehicle History Report greatly benefits both the buyer and the seller. 

The buyer is given important information about the vehicle, such as accident history, previous accidents/damages, title history, previous owners, mileage, service history, the vehicle's market value, and recalls. All this information helps the buyer decide if the vehicle is worth the asking price. 

As for the seller, providing a Vehicle History Report not only gives the potential buyer an idea as to why you're asking the price that you are, but it also shows the potential buyer that you're an upfront and trustworthy seller. This can really have an impact on how quickly your car gets sold.
