How Do I Submit a Manual Review?

To ensure a complete verification process for your new account, there are three essential steps to follow. Firstly, verify your email address. Secondly, verify your phone number and provide your ID. Manual Verification

When the bank can't verify all the information you provided to set up PrivateAuto Pay you will see the 'Upload a document' modal to complete a Manual Review instead. One frequent cause for manual reviews is a mismatch between the addresses listed on the user's profile and driver's license or if you have recently moved causing there to be a mismatch. So, if you haven't changed your address yet on any of your other bank-related accounts you will likely be placed in manual review.

You can re-open this modal at any time by clicking on the 'Verify' button on your profile next to PrivateAuto Pay as seen here:

What next? Locate one of the following documents:

    • Recent utility bill in your name, within 60 days (includes cable bill, internet bill, water/electric/gas bill, or property taxes)
    • Unexpired lease or rental agreement in your name
    • Recent mortgage statement in your name, within 60 days

Click on the 'add a document' blue box inside the modal to upload the document. Once is uploaded click the "submit for review" button. You will see a blue checkmark next to the document that was submitted successfully as seen here

Manual Review emails sent during business hours will be reviewed within 30 minutes to 2 hours. Emails sent on weekends or outside business hours will be reviewed on the next business day.
