How To Apply For A Loan

*Before applying for a loan, you need to set up your PrivateAuto Pay account. Click here to learn how.

1. Press either the white PrivateAuto Pay box on the left-hand navigation or by clicking on PrivateAuto Pay from the account page.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page, select the loan amount by either moving the slider to the desired amount or typing the amount in the box, then press "Apply For A Loan."
   • You are also able to edit the asking amount inside the loan app.

3. Ensure all your personal information is filled out correctly, and complete your residential information. If any information is incorrect, press "Edit" then "Save and Continue" once all the information is correct. If you have lived at your current residence for under two years, the "Past Residence" section will appear. Fill out this section as well and "Save and Continue."

4. Fill out the Employment section, then press "Save and Continue." If you have worked at your current job for under two years, the "Past Employment" section will appear. Fill out this section as well and "Save and Continue."

5. Next, you will select the vehicle you want to purchase with financed funds by clicking the "Choose Vehicle" button. Any vehicles you have added to your favorites or started a deal on will appear as options.

You may notice some vehicles are not available for financing due to our banking partner's loan criteria. For example, they can not fund a loan on vehicles older than six years old or that have a salvage or branded title. If you haven't added any vehicles to your favorites yet, you can click on the "Start searching" button, where you will first be prompted to save your application and then be taken to the marketplace to find a vehicle.

6. Once you're sure everything is filled out correctly, agree to the USALLIANCE terms and conditions, then press "Submit Loan Application."

Your loan has now been successfully submitted. Our partner, USALLIANCE Financial, will reach out to you to start the underwriting process via email or phone. Additional information may be requested if needed.  The status of the loan will update inside your PrivateAuto Pay account as soon as the bank has reviewed your application and made a decision.
